Objectives

Age is frequently disregarded as a factor in diversity, yet studies indicate that teams comprising of individuals from various generations in the workplace tend to be more productive. Multigenerational colleagues work better together when they understand the characteristics and communication preferences of each other. Reaping the full benefits requires building a culture that encourages learning the unique perspectives and experiences of every individual.

 

Being consciously aware of today’s multi-generational workforce is crucial to cultivating relationships necessary for effective collaboration on high-functioning multidisciplinary teams (MDTs). This presentation will address the following objectives:

  2. Develop self-awareness regarding stereotypes and microaggressions that impact team dynamics.
