Presented by:

Lt. Monty Lovelace
Director of the Nebraska Information Analysis Center (NIAC) and the Nebraska Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce Commander

It is no secret that there is a clear divide in our country for a variety of reasons. Hot button topics have given way to disagreements, civil unrest, and at times, violence. Unfortunately, our children are not immune from witnessing the hate, violence, and other stressful situations that can create concerning behaviors that lead to volatile situations for schools or other organizations that help kids. It is important for people to understand the Nebraska threat landscape and its effects on our children. Lt. Monty Lovelace, Director of the Nebraska Information Analysis Center (NIAC) and the Nebraska Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce Commander, will provide a briefing regarding threats and concerning trends our children face.

Objectives

1. Understand threats of violence facing our kids.

2. Understand "See Something Say Something".

3. Understand how radical violent extremists are grooming children to self-harm.

4. Understand current drug trends and youth.
